No secret. You just have to be patient and don't force anything. In this tourney you can wait all day for the right hand to come along. As long as you have 10K-15K going into the money you will be fine. I went to the FT with roughly 11K and first hand after break was AK. I pushed and bb called with JJ and I hit an A. It doesn't always work that way but you have to gambool. What I try to do is get my chips in with the best hand, I gambool when I have to, and I sit around patiently when I don't.

Another book that is similar to HOH is Kill Phil. But it will provide a better idea of what hands to be playing when you have an M of whatever. Not that I follow it strictly because it is mainly an AI system (great for end game though), but I use it and HOH I & II plus I throw in some SS as well. I have found that these are the best for modern day poker. The other 2+2 books are useful but they are more about limit and the basics. You really have to gambool to win big tourneys. Therefore, the books that I mentioned earlier are the best to have, IMO, in your library.
