Bet the flop harder...$150 into a $250ish Pot gives him odds to chase the flush...

As played, probably have to fold. The only thing you're beating is a smart player who pinned you on AA,KK and is bluffing.
    Hey knucklehead! Bonk!

    150 into a 275 pot definitely isn't enough.

You are probably beaten on the turn, fold

After your donk flop bet, did you consider checking the turn?

My flop bet was bad, I realized that almost immediately after I made it, I was kind of distracted at the time. Normally I would bet the pot, but I suppose I didn't calculate the size of the pot correctly. PokerRoom updated so now you have to count the chips on the table to figure out what the pot size is, since it doesn't list it anywhere else. I sense it won't be the last time I make such a mistake which pisses me off.

I did consider checking the turn, but felt he would certainly bet out big if I did so I didn't think that would help me.

considering he has a spade....you HAVE to check this turn. I dont mind a bet if he doesnt have the flush draw on the turn. You just put yourself in a bad spot here by betting.

Point taken. I did feel like there may have been something wrong with my turn bet.
