    Default Titan Poker Jackpots

On one of the chat rooms today, I brought up a promotion which is going on at Titan Poker. It got enough interest that I thought it would be best to inform everyone about it:

TITAN POKER has the following single table SnG JackPot series as follows:
    FORT KNOX JACKPOT:
    Buy in $50+7
Win 6 in Row and you win $100,000
Place 1st or 2nd 6 consecutive times and win $750.00

    RIO JACK POT:
    Buy in $20 + 3
Win 6 in a row and win $85,000
Place 1st or 2nd 6 consecutive times and win $300

    MAUI JACK POT
    Buy in $5 + .75
Win 5 in a row and win $18,500
    Place 1st or 2nd 5 times in a row and win $200
*the last winner of the Maui was "strangerx03x" on 1-31-06 $22K
**I guess the JackPots go up as now winner is found.

Anyway, Titan says to keep track of the tournament details, date, #...and when and if you win 5 in a row or place top two email them...go to TITAN POKER under Promotions for more info.
    :D

    Bad format for good players.

They're just begging for collusion problems too.

    I don't know.

I don't play sngs that much, but I have played a few, and isn't 5 in a row a somewhat common experience for those of you that quad or eight table these things?

On the 20's for example if you played 25000 sngs with your normal winning rate and just got 6 in a row ONCE... you'd profit.

I played the 20+3 tourneys for a few days... I think it was 3 days. And I was up to $600. They're really fishy but you have to catch cards because they all play everything and when you see a flop like 963 rainbow, they have two pair. Variance is REALLY high.

I agree, titan is incredibly fishy. I didnt play the 23s, I went with the 10s [forget the rake], and made a real quick profit, the players were horrible. However, I couldnt stand how long it took a table to fill up, and I dont really like the interface. With a bigger player pool I would stay here and deal with the interface because the pool is so soft.
