Default Push or fold AK here (PS $10)

Opp had re-raised my UTG raise once before (5 handed, blinds were 50/100, I raised KQo to 300, he re-raised to 1000 from the SB leaving him with 1155 behind, I folded).

Does anybody stick 60% of their stack in the middle without a hand against which I'm flipping or dominates me? Thoughts?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    SB (t2005)
    BB (t2520)
    Hero (t2410)
    MP (t4120)
    Button (t2445)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K, A.
Hero raises to t450, MP calls t450, 1 fold, SB raises to t1200, 1 fold, Hero ?????

Yeah, I'd gamble it up here, particularly with MP being so kind as to put extra dead money into the pot. If you're lucky, he'll call the rest and pay off the better 2 hands.

I think AQ is certainly a potential. As well as a pair of tens. Anyway, if you're confident in your read, then I think you can go ahead and lay it down. That being said, you should know that when you hold AK, the probability of being dominated is lower.

This is one of those spots, additionally, that you can start thinking about table dynamics if/when you win the hand. You're gonna have 5,000 chips when this happens. And you're gonna have quite a bit of terrorizing you can do with a stack like that.

Probably a flip, but with it being 5-handed and there being plenty of dead money to sweeten the pot, I would just throw it all in there. Plus you've got him covered.

Gamble it up, you're probably flipping most times but have a very slight edge because opponent can also have AK through AT.

This is from a $55 Party Poker Tourney: If this was not suited, I probably would have folded it. Just to give you a sense for how close a call it was for me. One of the factors that led me to call was his ginormous overbet, and the fact that I did look like I was in a steal position.

Thanks for the suggestions - I pushed over, the guy thought about it (for a bit of theatre I guess), called and turned over AA. I guess the consensus is that it's worth gambling it up here.

I guess the reason I posted this hand was whether somebody would stick in more than half of their stack if they didn't have a hand with which they would go all the way. No way they are going to fold with only 800 chips behind, right?

Pretty sure you can remove quite a few cards from you random so that the suited portion of the hand should add ~ 2-3% card equity.
