Default Is this a bad play? (ps $10)

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (7 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    Hero (t3550)
    Button (t2200)
    SB (t1260)
    BB (t2440)
    UTG (t1210)
    MP1 (t395)
    MP2 (t2445)

Preflop: Hero is CO with T, A.
    UTG calls t50, 1 fold, MP2 calls t50, Hero raises to t150, 2 folds, BB calls t100, UTG calls t100, MP2 calls t100.

    Flop: (t625) 9, 6, 3 (4 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets t100, BB calls t100, UTG folds, MP2 raises to t300, Hero calls t200, BB folds.

    Turn: (t1325) 2 (2 players)
    MP2 bets t300, Hero calls t300.

    River: (t1925) 2 (2 players)
    MP2 bets t1000, Hero raises to t2000, MP2 calls t695 (All-In).

    Final Pot: t5620

Reads I have on villian are pretty tight-aggressive. Although he limped in with AA, and week called all the way down to the river.

    What are my options?
    a. bet more aggresive when I flopped the flush, but that might be too obvious.
    b. just call his bet on the river, and save a thousand.

I knew the hand was mine until the second two flopped, I didn't think my raise was going to make him fold, but i still thought the hand was mine.

I either raise more preflop, you want 3xBB plus one additional BB for every limper or I (my preferred option) fold pre-flop. ATs is a pretty looking hand, but not one you really want to be taking into a raised, multi-way pot.

However, when that flop hits, you have to lead out for more than just 100. There is 625 in the pot and you have the A hi flush draw plus two overs. I lead for about 250-350 here.

Also, when the duece drops on the turn, I raise. So what if he knows I have the flush. I would prefer to take down a sizeable pot now, than let him see a river card at his own cost and sweat out a showdown if the board pairs (as it does here). His check-raise on the flop would lead me to think he had hit a set. It's odd, but it's certainly a distinct possibility.

definately thought set with the way the guy played it. and that means you have got to push the turn. what i dont understand is why raise that river. if you know he's not folding, and there is a good chance he has you beat, just save those extra ~650 chips and flat call. i wont comment on the rest of the hand, because the above poster did a good job on that.

limping pre flop is fine. As star said if you are raising it must be more. But don't raise. Fold or limp.

Obv lead the flop more, I don't know what you were doing there. With your crappy hand that's about the best flop you could ask for.

You say he is TAG - TAG is not leading at this pot twice without TP or better. So on the turn I'm tempted to raise. With the bizzare way you played the flop he can't put you on the flush draw specifically (he can't put you on much of anything). Given that it's tough to believe he can fold a 9 or better here to a raise. Plus, if a fourth heart comes your action dries up.

On the end, it's a tough spot. You have played it so weird he could lead a lot of hands here hoping you had something like AhQx. I can't really see a fold.

There are typically two instances where I put in a raise (and/or bet) on the river; if I know I need to to win the hand and think my bluff will work or if I know I have the nuts (or close to the nuts). With the way villian has played this and the propensity for a set, I would have called on the river instead of raising.

I was actually trying to steal the blinds with the pre flop raise. For some reason I feel better trying to steal when I have a hand that could actually be something worth while. Maybe an obvious leek in my game.

Believe it or not, I forgot he had check raised me in after the flop. Knowing that I would have been much more leary after the river. But, I truly thought this pot was mine when I hit my flush. Possibbly another leak...loving your hand too much.

you will almost never find someone who will limp for 50 there and fold for 100 more. Getting TWO someones to fold, never never. As Star said, 5x here at least if you try and steal here.

It is also harder to steal when two people have already voluntarily put money in the pot. When I try to steal I like the be the first one into the pot.
