    Default Standard?

Dont have the exact hand history. Party Poker $1 Dollar MTT. Average stack is about 10,000 with the blinds at 200/400. About 900 people left or somewhere around there. I have ~19,000 and Villain has ~20,000. Villain is UTG and minraises to 800 and I am in the SB with :Qs: :Qc:. I make it 2,500 to go and he pushes. I don't have much of a read on him as he is new to this table, but I haven't seen him playing alot of pots, or getting out of line yet. Also, I just can't see this min raise, push play with any hand I have dominated except MAYBE AQ by a total fish or JJ. AA, KK have me dominated, AK is a flip. I figured I could lay it down and still be healthy, so I did. Thoughts?

I'm a gambler so I take any edge I get. I am definitely calling. I don't care if he has KK+ or AK. Especially in low buy-ins.

With him being new to the table, I don't think you can put much stock in "he hasn't gotten out of line yet". I also think that people in a $1 Party MTT would do this with a range that you're better than even against. At a higher level of play, you can safely lay down here...I'm not sure it's as easy in this case.
    I run a training site...

the minraise could have indicated quite a hand (kk aa)

But I think he's just as capable of doing that with JJ, TT, AK, or AQ.

Also you have got a long haul to go in this tournament. You'd love to have a 50/50 chance of being an early chip leader.
