Default Harringtons M in regards to a SNG 5 MAX

I have just thought about something and I hope someone can answer this.

We will say 3 people left at the table in a 5.00 SNG ( 5 Max) . Everyone has played tight up untill this point. The game is pretty much betting into the flop and the other folding if he or she doesnt have a part of th board. Everyones M is at 4. Alot of people are limping with good hands because of the way of play right now hoping to trap or go all in with top pair. The only money is for first place and second get their money back put a couple bucks.

Im pushing with anything paired JJ - AA.

What are your guys rules for play in this situation?

Please give some examples of cards you would play in this game and how you would play them.

Loosen up your play requirements greatly. Your ace is good if nobody has raised so far; A2o is a solid hand 3-handed with these stacks, as is KQ-KT, QJ, QT. Steal on the button if you can, occasionally limp a good hand from the button too. Top pair is a monster. 77-AA are also very strong. You need to be playing about 1/3 of the hands to break even on the blinds, and you need to be playing aggressive because the real money is for first; so put some people on decisions for their stacks.

Checkraise the flop all-in as a semibluff on an OESD, flush draw, or better, every once in a while. Pull the same move when you hit TPTK or better once they've folded a few times.

Try using this method to figure out your M, because with so few people left it changes. Get your M the regular way, and then multiply that by (# players left/5). If everyones M is at 4, then you guys must not have been doing anything and the blinds are incredibly high, either way I cannot imagine limping is correct. It really should be Push/Fold
