Reads? How often has he tried this already? I'm guessing not much given the size of the blinds. I am also guessing from his stack size that he hasn't been involved too much so far at all and has effectively just put in the blinds.

He might just be using this to try a little steal here. So I might be tempted to use my stack as muscle and either come back over the top to, say 450, or really test him out and move in. I think I would favour a nice re-raise.

Then again, if I figured I had a considerable post-flop advantage over him, I may be tempted just to call, use position and take down a smaller pot/get away cheaper if a horror-flop comes down.

hm well i pushed over his raise to maximize my FE. what do you put as his calling range here?

i wasnt really paying attention to this table since i had 6 going, but im pretty sure i made an awful mistake.

i thought about reraising to 450, but then if he pushed i was pretty sure id call it 6 handed with my chipstack. so pushing seemed like a better alternative. im not sure if im being results oriented (he had AK), but i dont really see this as being a good move. and if it isnt, whats the best play? its not all that common to play at level 3 6 handed with a deep stack.

Raise to 450-600, if he reraises you are pretty sure you're beat (ie coin flip at best and killed at worst). Reads help a lot here, if he's been tight obviously give him credit if he pushes.

Are you serious? Seems kinda early considering the blinds and stack sizes. You would really push here?

Nah, you made a good play. Don't be results oriented.
