Default Why Party why? (ridiculous new blind structure)

They decreased the length of the blind levels from 15 minutes to 10. They're trying to trick good players into thinking there's room for more play now, but it's actually the opposite. Once you get to the second hour of a tournament, everyone is in push-fold mode, it's ridiculous.

Party used to have the most friendly structure for a tight, conservative player like myself, and my results bear that out as I've been far more successful at Party MTT's than on any other site. Which site should I play on now that Party ruined their MTT's?

-PokerStars is OK, but their blinds also go up really fast in the middle stages of a tournament.
-UltimateBet and PokerRoom have 12 minute levels instead of 15.
-Paradise might be even worse than Party.

I actually think my best bet might be Pacific Poker. *shudders*

If anyone talks to PP support it would be interesting to know what kind of feedback they're getting. Can't imagine it's good.

    From 2+2:

hahah, I am in a 33$ and about 95% of the field has 1000 chips, but a few people have 3000. hahahah, maybe they are experimenting if tripling your stack really does triple your chance of winning
    lmao

UB in my opinion is the best site for MTT's. The structure is slow especially in the beggining. After the first hour you can open up your game, but the blinds don't make it a crapshoot like a lot of sites do. And when you make the final table there is always a LOT of play to be done. Full Tilt is second in my opinion, and Pokerstars ranks near last in my book. The blinds go up way too fast and the end is an all in fest, no thanks.

Default beating the rake when you make a dopsit

I have 2 iGM-Pay acounts (they are free)1 for party poker and 1 for empire. all the other sites seem to only have acounts that charge you when you deposit or withdraw. does anyone know if there are others or a way around this?

Anyway it looks like the 10 minute levels were just a glitch and they're back to 15 minute levels, so I won't have to cash out my bankroll from Party.

The few times that I've made it deep in a UB tourney, everyone has been in push-fold mode by the last two tables. Their antes are huge, like 1/3 or 1/4 of the small blind. I guess their big buy-in tourneys are better, but for $20 and $30 MTT's UB is not that good of a place to play, in my opinion.

I have to disagree with you on that. It's very common for the average stack to be at around 20xbb, which is a lot. The antes usually represent 1/5th of the size of the small blind. In the bigger buyin's you start with more chips and there is a lot more room than the smaller buyin tourneys. I know that lower buyin UB MTT's have a far better structure than say Pokerstars.
