    Limp preflop.

I would fold, with only 1 overcard to your 8's I may call, but with 2 of them I fold

Well It was a speed tourney and all the windows were real small becuase I was making them fit on my tiny ass screen, so I made a crappy raise from this position. It would have been infinitely better from the BUtton or CO. I think not raising from the BUtton or CO would be a mistake.

The ohter mistake I made was not paying attention to the stack sizes, my raise to 3xBB was already 1/3 of his stack, given this, I would have to contend with calling an all in, or playing against someone whose stack size would be equivalent to hte pot on the flop.

So given these 2 things, do u even bother playing the 88? Do u raise enough to price urself into the short stacks all in?
HOw do u deal with his short stack preflop?

On the flop, by betting that portion of his stack as opposed to just pushing all in, I was pretty sure that he had something good. So folding here even tho the pot is getting bigger and his stack is so small is wat u would do?

Limping for set value is just a terrible idea when the blinds are this big. You're just wasting 100 chips the majority of the time, and if you do hit your set, you won't win a big enough pot, often enough, to make up for all the times you threw 100 chips into the trash.

88 is probably the best hand at the table and the blinds are big enough that winning them is worth something. You really need to be raising here from this position, but folding is better than limping.

VQC you have PokerAce HUD right? When someone bets into me like this, I like to look at the guy's post-flop stats to decide what are the chances he's making a move on me, and what are the chances he'll fold if I slam in a big raise. Sometimes I fold, sometimes I raise, it just depends on whether I believe him or not.

Wait a minute, the above advice is for if you're up against another big stack. I just noticed the guy only has a few chips left after his flop bet. I'd definitely put him all-in. This looks like the "bus fare" bluff, try to win the pot but leave a little left for bus fare in case it doesn't work. I bet he had shit.

Especially if he makes that little bitch bet of 150 into a 475 pot, on a flop that probably missed him completely. He's folding to your raise 100 percent of the time. Obviously a donkey who was feeling generous and decided to donate 150 chips to you.

VQC's hand is a little different from yours and mine, his flop might actually have hit his opponent, whereas ours almost certainly did not, but I'd put the guy all-in anyway.

vqs board was draw heavy...which leads me to believe he was ahead.....so i raise.........and wouldnt be suprised to get called and be ahead here.

I pushed over him, not expecting him to fold at all.

Right limping here is bad so im either folding or raising. I could fold here and care less about it, but i would be throwing away some amount of money. So I raised, In this exact position Im either raising or folding. My only questino is how would I plan on playing this type of hand with a shorty to act after me.

IM at the point in my poker carreer where I can feel like hes shitting me and slam all in over his donk bets. BUt in this case the villians stack is so small that his bet is such a large portion of his stack that it throws me off. Even an All in is so much easier to call here than his 1/3 stack bet.

If he donk bets the flop you got to put him all-in. If he had a Q or 9 he'd check-raise probably. That said, do you/how much do you bet if he checks the flop? Putting him all in seems like overkill. What I'm trying to say is I suck at post-flop (real) poker.
