Its a simple choice, and poker is just a game to you right? If it is your way of paying the bills then you dont take a large ammount out to pay for something you want, ie. a uni fee... that would be like spending your savings and quitting your job to get that new car you want. DOESNT WORK.
This is however quite different, a choice of which is of more value to you. Uni vs the chance to play poker at a certain level. Your choice is fine, just as would be the choice to skip uni and play poker in my eyes. Either way works, its not going to leave you in financial difficulty. And you can easily redevelop a sizeable bankroll.
I recently chose to cash out to aid in the purchase of an electric piano. Music is how i pay my bills so this is a necessary purchase. But it means i'm in the same boat as you, drop the stakes, and rebuild. I started poker because its fun. If you did that also then this shouldnt phase you. Its still fun, you just happen to get money aswell.
So get back out there and own those 20NL fish.
