Default AJ in SB v Aggo LP raise (flop two pair)

Villian played some 45% of his hands, and raised about 15% of the time. He was pretty aggro postflop as well. I thought about coming over the top preflop and then about calling the flop bet to try to get more on the turn. In the end I decided against slowplaying with top two. What do you think?

That board doesn't have any draws except for a possible gutshot straight draw that he probably doesn't have anyway. I'd probably just call against this type of player.

That being said, just because he's aggressive doesn't mean he's so dumb that he'll keep pumping money into the pot without an ace.

If I thought this player would fire another bet into the pot on the turn after a call, then I would just call since this flop is pretty safe for AJ. Then on the turn I would drop the hammer if he bets out again. If he checks to me and the board is still safe I may just value bet.

If this player would usually slow down after a call on a c-bet when he misses the flop then a raise is in order to just take the pot now. Sometimes in a situation like this with a safe board, I will minraise for value then just end it on the turn with a large raise.

I think you could have gotten more. Call his raise. Make your move on the turn if the board gets scary.
