An Ace a nine or a King will win for me. I C bet to get payed off. If a King comes off, would you pay me? I build pots to get paid when they hit. Not the obvious.. Actually that gets me paid too as you can tell.. Ummm, thanks for the comment about luck, its a mixture of luck and skill that makes winners. In this tourny I got dealt really good cards.... Im not bragging, but thanks for your comments. If you dont play 5 max SNG's its a little different. I could not play like this at a full table of 10 . But hey, thats just me. Wow...you ask for commentary, a guy goes through the whole SNG and gives you lots of good advice (which probably took him at least 10-15 minutes of his time), and your response is to talk down to him and start another thread making fun of him for saying you got lucky? I doubt many people will be helping you out in the future if this is the kind of outburst they can expect from you.

For the most part you bet a lot of money when you had mediocre hands, and kept the pot really small when you had a monster hand. Against a decent player you might as well have been turning your hole cards face up for everyone to see, but you were fortunate to be playing against some really bad players, hit some lucky cards and get paid off.

You're obviously not very good, so instead of coming on here and bragging about winning one SNG, you should be trying to get better. First of all stop limping in with horrible hands like 54 and 74, just fold them. Second, when you happen to have a great hand, start betting unless you have a specific reason to think that slow-playing will win you a bigger pot. Usually, it won't. By the same token stop building huge pots when you have nothing. I also suggest you read a couple of books, Harrington on Hold'Em Vol. 1 is a good start, read them and pay attention to what hands he suggests you play from what positions. And come to FTR and read the advice here with an open mind...even though not all of it is good.

Thanks for your advice. 14 minutes 56 seconds. Dude, you didnt comment on anything.. Im not sure I get you on slow playing anything. I pushed every nut hand I had. Read Volume 1 and 2, I really think Dans theory has to do with when your starting in a tourny, the end game or on the short /med stack. It really didnt pertain to me. Im open minded, I dont really post alot of HH's because I make good decisions and I come out ahead. Im not outbusting MCAT. I have found your help in the past to be very educational. This post was about eliminating 5 people in 14 minutes 56 seconds or faster. And it was about you picking a hand of what I played and commenting on it. Poker is not about hoping, I dont think there was alot of crossing fingers how I played this tourny.
