meh, I am going to be a little controversial and say fold pre-flop.

However, as played, you are behind to more hands that I think you are ahead of here. Plus, even if you draw to your hand, you can only really rely on a non-heart K being totally clean, and even that might only give you a split.

You have only invested 300 chips and, even after you post your BB and SB, you still have 2,500+ behind). I fold.

    ain't that flop a bitch.....

hard to know where you stand on this one. you have to either raise or fold. The boy pretty much committed himself to the pot with that flop bet so I don't think you'll get a fold from him. But for some reason this smells like a Kxhearts semibluff - I can't see a better hand betting that way. None the less, if he has Kxhearts you're not a favorite to win with two cards to go. I'd fold it.

I think I fold preflop, but I can't fault you for raising.

That flop is the worst. I think you have to fold. I can't think of a hand that would bet the pot on this flop that you beat. He'd have to be an idiot to lead into an UTG raiser on a flop like this without the goods. Since I doubt A9 or KJ does this, fold it.

This looks a lot like something like A9 or KJ.

I agree with Fnord. I see bad players in low-limit SNG's donk bet so often with cheese that I just pound them if I have anything decent, and tey usually fold. Anything that beats AQ here would probably check-raise, that's just the type of predictable poker that people play in these games.

Now that I'm playing the 50's I'm having to get used to the fact that when people check-raise it doesn't necessarily mean they have the nuts.

On a turbo tournament I dont think you should fold AQ to an unraised pot, even from EP, on a normal speed tournament I can make the arguement for folding.

I think you are behing here, I think he hits 2 pair (probably AJ) and he does not want the flush/str8 to hit

    Yup.

Perhaps you fold to silly looking bets so often, you're not seeing the crap that bet/calls here nor the frequency he bet/folds.

He could have any of sklanny's hand rankings here. I think this looks more like pf slowplay of a very strong hand, like AK or AQ. I think this bet is trying to discourage draws, so trips, 2pair, or better, and I think the only hand that calls a push is a hand that has you beat, and the folding equity just doesn't cut it. Pot odds are poor.

Here's the list of hands that could make this play:
    AA - you lose bad.
KK - drawing to 6 outs
QQ - drawing to 2 outs and 4 split outs
JJ - you draw to 2 outs
TT - you draw to 2 outs
    99 - donk. 2 outs.
    AK - 3 outs
    AQ - split/possible flush
AJ - you draw to 7 outs
AT - you draw to 7 outs
    A9 - drawing to 3 outs
    A8s - drawing to 3 outs
KQ - you draw to 3 for a split
    KJ/QJ/QT - drawing to 3
    JT - you're drawing to 9 outs

I think the majority of the hands on this list that beat you are more likely than the hands that don't.

Even when the read is "semi-tight" and "not donkish" ?

Unless I have a read that he will lead into pots with nothing like this I cant see how I do anything but fold.

I've still got time to steal blinds and flop strong hands.
