    finnpete called - $105.00

    hooodyhoo42 called - $105.00

** Dealing the flop: 9 of Diamonds, 9 of Spades, Queen of Spades

    TheArgyle bet - $180.00

    finnpete went all-in - $765.00

    hooodyhoo42 folded

    TheArgyle folded

    finnpete mucks:

finnpete wins $1260.00 from the main pot

Thoughts: No read on the Finnpete, Hoody was Loose/aggressive.
Reasoning: Preflop, obvious raise with AK....
Post Flop: Im 1st to act and Im basically folding this hand, but I don't like to give people free pots. I figure I'll lead with a bet and see how they act, im folding to any re-raise here.

Is this a bad move or good move to make? Should I just check fold?

I play it the same - I must say I would feel better if there was only one caller of your PF raise rather than two, but I think you gotta lead out here.

    Standard.

This should also be your raise with TT+ (maybe 88-99 with 4 left?). You're betting about 1/2 the pot (which you should do sometimes with 99, AQ), you're getting 2:1 so if this works every-other time (which it should) it's +eV.

you absolutely played this the right way, however as Swig mentioned, make sure you play this same way with hands other than AK. That will help in disguising your hand when you play with 10's and flop a set on a 10 high board.

I'll lead into 2 opps but not 3, and only 'cause the board doesn't offer much.
seems clear heshe is beating AQ, and therefore is killing you.

i'll only c-bet into more than one opp. if i have position. i check/fold this flop.

I like that strategy. I will have to review some of my hand histories to see how many times a C-bet against 2 or 3 (mostly 2 though as I rarely C-bet into 3 players) players from OOP hurts me.
