Default Are there right times to slowplay?

This is from the 180 man $20 sit-and-go and I wanted to know what you guys thought about my play here, I mean usually if I'm the raiser I'm pushing rockets hard, but with the button raising here I figured there are a lot more hands that will get all his chips in the middle with the worst hand post-flop than there are pre-flop, so I figure I take the chance to double-up, not to mention BB happening to get KK. I mean 3-way definately scared me a little but with that board I wasn't really scared. No reads on either player.

Bet the flop - preflop was fine.

And yes slowplaying has value - but only when you are confident you wont get outdrawn and you know that betting will make your opps fold.

Eee, checking the flop scares me. What kind of board would have scared you?

If the raise was 3x I would be more tempted to re raise to keep the BB out, but 6x I like the call pre flop. BB can't call without a pretty big hand here. Him smooth calling with KK, then checking (!!!) the flop just shows how bad the play is in these things.
