Warpe... What is the range you put him on in this hand?

You are getting about 2:1 odds on this call, id push over the top for those extra few hundred chips. [If any of my math here is wrong, please correct me] You have 9 outs to the flush and 4 outs to the straight which gives you 13 outs. The worst possible situation is that one of the others has KK, QQ or 88, even then you are getting the odds to make the call. KK or QQ however dont really make sense, I could see 88 though. But with the number of outs you have I think this is definitely a call. If you disagree Id like to hear why, it would help with my thinking.

Not Insta-call, Insta push (which is probably what you meant since a call leaves you with 40 chips).

You are getting 2 to 1 odds if SB folds and 3 to 1 if he calls (which he may with all of the dead money in the pot).
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

Why are there so many chips on the table? What's the payout structure?

Final 12 players or so of a Stars 45-man $10+1 SNG, top 7 get paid.

I pushed, caught my flush on the turn, but I wanted a line check here to see if anyone would wait for that good old elusive "better spot".

Went on to win the whole shebang.

Ahead of me but with less outs.

Why not push preflop and build your stack by over 25%?
There's three types of people in the world...those who can count, and those who can't.

Meh...Button and SB both had me outstacked and BB had me covered and they all had yet to act. My M is less than 10 but I'm not desperate yet, imo. With ATs, I'd rather gamble knowing what 3 out of 5 cards are than going in blind.

For sure. Why are we limping with 8.5xBB?
    pulling a courtiebee pŏŏl-ĭng ā kôrt-ē-bē (verb phrase):
    1. overvaluing mid pocket pairs
    2. knowing you should fold, but donkishly calling or raising anyway
