Push pre flop would be better if you have a line on min raise.
Push on the flop is OK.
    Push now is eh.

agreed.. you dont have much folding equity now. An open push on the flop would be fine though(like drmcboy says).

Why would I need FE when I have the best hand?

when you have folding equity you dont need the best hand. So Theres a chance someone lays down T9 here for example. That would be a pretty strange hand for htem to hold considering the action, however its possible. A more liekly hand would be 88, and again they could lay it down. Now you check your hand and the ybet thier 88, you push and you no longer have folding equity. Without FE, you must have the best hand to win. Obviously in thise case you can not be so sure you have the best hand, so take advantage of your folding equity.

Also take note that geordie would be putting half his stack on the line by calling you if you open pushed, now if he push over his raise hes only putting 1/3 of his remaining stack on the line, and to call its only 2/3 of what hes already invested.

And lets get back to the main problem, what were you doing calling preflop? Esp if you arent willing to open push SPGK..
You-- yes, you-- you're a cunt.

Preflop I'm getting 5.5:1 with a mediocre hand, so it's maybe a too loose call (been reading HOH2 lately).

Flop; I don't like open pushing. PF raiser could easily have 99+. After he checked, I'm sure I've beat him. Now the 3rd player bets half pot vs. 2 smaller stacks.. I'd make that bet with any 2 in that position, so my hand was probably good. Only 88/9x beats me..

    johnny291281 went all-in - $5180.00
    shocruzin folded
    geordie121 called - $5180.00
geordie121 shows: 10 of Hearts, 9 of Hearts

** Dealing the turn: 6 of Spades

** Dealing the river: Queen of Clubs

geordie121 wins $14260.00 from the main pot

    End of game 707525200

How about call flop, check/fold turn?
    Preflop fold?

geordie was new to the table btw, so no read on him.

there is no way you can call the flop, then check/fold the turn. what would that accomplish but giving more chips to your opp?

    Survival. Would air bet twice?

    (yes, I'm results oriented )

given that you are oop, i think air could bet twice when checked to twice. unless youve been very trappy lately, and op has noticed this, a second barrel is almost required here with so much in the pot and you acting so weak.

preflop call was not ideal. either fold it there or push it, IMO. what happens when a K shows up on the flop?? AK or KQ , even KJ are very possible in this scenario. by calling you are now in a multiway pot with not alot of FE..you need to get heads up preflop with this hand if you want to play it.
