    Maybe bet more like 2/3 on the turn instead of potting it. Also, I think call the river, no? That's almost 5:1 pot odds and you've got a set. In other words, do you think you win here more then 1 out of 5 times? I do.

    Well maybe he outsmarted me but wat do you think his bet means on the river
    it looked more like something that wanted to get called than anything.

    I agree that my first instinct here is that it's a value bet, but it could also be an attempt to salvage a busted straight draw, a misguided value bet with, I dunno, AJ, or lots of other things.

    i overbet the flop and the turn here.....which would get all his money in on the turn with a 4 flush...............

    In spite of the great odds you're getting, I can't see what else other than the flush or flush draw cold calls the flop and turn, and then bets the river like that.

    To be ahead here, you have to be against someone who played the flop and turn like a donk and then made a very clever river bet.
