Raise preflop every single time with a hand like JJ. I would limp maybe 99 or something, but JJ is a pretty big hand and it doesn't play well with multiple players in an unraised pot. If you flop an overpair are you going to check/fold to any bet? Are you going to lead the flop if it's checked to you? This is why I would always raise with a precious hand like JJ, to cut down on the competition and narrow down your opponent's hands.

As played you have no choice but to go with it, one of them probably has two pair, one might have a pair and a flush draw, or one of them could have QT for the nut straight. However by limping in preflop this is the situation you've gotten yourself into since you have no idea what anybody has.

I don't mind the limp here. Don't get me wrong, I can see merit in raising, I just don't think it's as clear cut as saying you should raise every single time here.

Problem I find with raising JJ from UTG+1 here is can you sufficiently limit the field enough knowing that, any callers are going to have position on you and there is more of a need for a favourable flop, or how do you respond to a re-raise?

How would you play TT here? In turn, how big of a margin is there between 99, TT and JJ?

To a reraise I think it depends on the player. Most people won't reraise with less than AK or QQ, so I'd probably muck to a reraise.

I just think raising here is a winning play every time. If you get called and they have position on you, you still have a strong hand to play and a bet on the flop will more than likely take down the pot. There's no sense in limping in, letting the blinds in for free and then going broke in an unraised pot. If you were willing to put in your entire stack postflop when somebody like is out there with QT, then you should invest a few more chips preflop.

I would be raising 99+ here in most cases, depending on how aggressively (or passively) the table has been playing. If most raises won the blinds or got the pot heads up or three-way I would stick in a raise here with a wider range of hands that I might normally limp. With an aggressive table or one that calls a lot of raises I would limp 88-99 more often that not, but TT+ I think is still worth a raise. The difference between TT and JJ may not seem all that big, but the chance of an overcard flopping is significanty less with JJ than it is 88-TT, enough to make raising JJ preflop a good +EV play.
