Funny stories my friend sends me from UT
Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol by a Minor / Consumption of Alcohol
by a Minor (3 counts): A UT police officer observed a Chevrolet pick-up
truck tailgating and following a subject on a motorcycle in an aggressive
manner. The officer stopped the vehicle which was occupied by three non-UT
subjects who were all under the age of 21. The driver was found to have
consumed alcoholic beverages, but not to the point he was driving while
intoxicated. Both of the passengers inside the vehicle were also found to
have consumed alcoholic beverages. In lieu of having the vehicle towed, the
driver called a friend, who was a UT student, to drive the truck. When the
student arrived, he was found to be under the age of 21 and had consumed
alcoholic beverages.
Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of

student needed support from a brick wall to maintain his balance. The
student was found to have consumed alcoholic beverages. Occurred on

Theft (2 counts): A UT student reported seeing a suspicious subject steal a
front tire from a Schwinn bicycle that was secured with a u-lock to a
bicycle rack and place the stolen wheel on another bicycle that had its
front wheel secured with a u-lock to the same bicycle rack. The subject
stole the frame and rear wheel of one bicycle and the front tire of the
other bicycle. The subject was described as a black male that was "older
looking," tall, slender build and wearing a baggy plaid shirt and dirty blue
jeans. The subject was last seen riding away on his assembled stolen
bicycle that was red in color with shocks on the front fork. The owner of
the Schwinn did not give anyone permission to steal his wheel. The owner of
the red bicycle has not yet been located. Loss value: Undetermined at this
time. Occurred on 03-06-06 at 3:15 PM.
