For the record: I agree that the part in white is terrible.

Not me. After two shots at him then slowing down I can't see a push working here.

That is why I usually cut out that part then paste it into a later post once people have had time to reply (plus it prevents someone from looking at the results THEN posting).

Edit: BTW, what level is this?

    $10 27-player sng

I'm done on the flop, done plus when the 9 turns off. Pre flop I don't see much value in steal.

    ...reads white...

Honestly, I think calling the river is the best play you made. You're getting like 8/1 here. He could have 86 here sometimes, plus you split with some As.

I never push, donkeys play trip nines like this.

This early in a $10 27 player sng I wouldn't have even tried the steal. OF course that's because this early in a $10 27 player sng I am tighter than a frog's ass.

I'm trying to break that habit. Not 'cause I think it's the wrong way to play, but because I need experience and practice using stacks/momentum/image etc. So I'm upping my bluff frequency

That is an ok strategy, but you still need a hand to work with if the bluff doesn't work. A6o doesn't fit that category as you can't make a flush or straight out of it and most of the time your 6 will get counterfitted (sp?).

You also realize that a bluff is exactly that - A BLUFF. If you get called on it you need to be able to lay it down (and therefore don't need to ask if you should push on the river, your bluff didn't work - LET IT GO).

    Please don't do that.
