Default Another SB/BB clash - A2o in the SB (PS $11)

Thoughts on this? BB was a classic TAgg who had opened up and become significantly more aggressive as blinds hit 75/150.

    Factors for pushing:
    - I'm (somewhat) shortstacked and could use the 225 extra chips
    - BB likes to do the raising rather than the calling
    - If I just complete the SB there is a very high likelihood from previous observations that BB will raise me
    - If called, I'm ahead of any non-pocket pair hand provided one is not an A
    - Winning this would give me a nice stack with which to beat the shorter stacks

    Factors against pushing:
    - I pulled the stop-n-go the very previous hand (I again picked up A2s in the BB, the BB in the current hand flat called, I checked [ya maybe I should have just pushed preflop], picked up a four-flush on the flop and pushed)
    - I'm tangling with the big stack here, I should be pushing against the smaller stacks
    - Even though A2o is ahead of any two non-pocket pair/non-A cards, it is only a 60/40 favourite.

    Hero (t1420)
    BB (t4425)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 2, A.
    3 folds, Hero ?????

Just push. Should be good with ~10BB in the SB. Make him make a decision.
    pulling a courtiebee pŏŏl-ĭng ā kôrt-ē-bē (verb phrase):
    1. overvaluing mid pocket pairs
    2. knowing you should fold, but donkishly calling or raising anyway

I agree. You're running short stack and less then 10 BB. A call and win well put you 3rd in chips just under BB and over the MP and UTG guys and in a much safer postion. He calls and you're likely to lose, oh well, time for another game. He folds and now your just over the 10 BB mark and have slightly more room to play around with in a few more hands. Calling a push and a win for you well put him 2nd in chips and just slightly over yours. Make him make the decision for you with a push. He will only make the call if he has a JJ+ or QJ+. I can't realy see him calling a Ace with a low-mid kicker, even if its suited.

There is no reasonable calling range that the BB could have that makes this push a bad push.

    I instashove this all day.
