2 Hands vs a sLAA - what would you do?
My table image up to this level has been extemely tight and aggressive. I think my VP$IP was like around 10-12. The sLAA has around a 26 VP$IP and were both pretty even on aggressiveness.
Hand 1 - He's UTG and throws out a min raise. Anyone who min raises me and especially when I'm in the small blinds at least deserves a call just to show I'm not scared to play a weak hand. I pair both cards and he shows about a 26% WTSD%.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (6 handed)
MP (t1390)
CO (t4225)
Button (t3360)
SB (t8490)
Hero (t10785)
UTG (t3190)
Preflop: Hero is BB with Q , 5 .
UTG raises to t400, 4 folds, Hero calls t200.
Flop: (t725) 5 , Q , 8 (2 players)
Hero ???
Do I push here? check-raise and if I do he reraises then what? Or put in a value bet to check his "min-raise" from pre-flop?
Hand 2 - A few hands later after a bad hand and here he is again. This time I get Q2s. I'm puting him on a Jx offsuit likey as I see he plays allot of Jacks frequently. I decide a attempt on a steal off the small blinds with my stadard raise. So it's a coin flip in my eyes.
