Aggressive Villian - Middle Pair
Villian started off relatively quiet, but as soon as he acquired chips, his aggression factor took off. Plus, the table was starting to tighten up to him which might have encouraged him a little more. Not that he was being ridiculous, he knew when to let his hand go, but he was all over the weak bets (and there were a few from the other players).
I have been relatively quiet, picked up a few small pots either pre-flop or on the flop, no real hands shown down.
I choose not to raise pre-flop because I feel that I can play this for set value and have a truly disguised hand.
Villian's call on the flop gave me the feeling I was ahead, particularly given that he was raising a lot. I would have expected him to raise with a draw. Maybe he viewed me as a tightie, maybe he was just concerned that I'd hit a BB special.
