$22 Calling all-ins on the bubble

I'm never sure how good a hand I should have to call a short-stack all-in on the bubble. I have a good idea what I should go all-in with when I'm in this situation and first to act, but not as good an idea what to call with. Villain was in push/fold mode and pushing a little less than once a round. Before that he seemed like a tight, solid player. Good place to make a stand? What's your calling range here?

I don't really want to call this push because I don't fancy my chances anyway, plus I still have to sweat on the BB either waking up with a hand or taking his chances of knocking two players out.

My calling range would have to be quite narrow (i.e. tight) here. As you've said, I prefer to be the one pushing than the one calling.

I agree with staresy here you dont want the BB or SB to have an excelent hand and knock both of you out leaving you in fourth place. Wait a little and pick a better spot to pick up chips
