    Default Live 100$ MTT freezeout

More like multitable SNG but what the hell.
I'm shortstacked(M~11) limp behind a limper in MP w/A7s (debatable), call a 2.5x raise from 2 to my left (debatable), limper calls.
Limper is a solid tricky player who plays at high levels, i respect him. Raiser is a pretty straight-forward player. I put him on an overpair.
Flop comes 689, limper checks to me.
Now, pot is ~450 i have a stack of ~450. I'm assuming PFRer will bet. If he does, it'll most likely be for all or most of my stack, and with an OESD I can't fold, especially if limper would call, and he most likely would on that flop, maybe even raise. So I push for the 8 outs of the OESD and MAYBE the 3 aces(i put PFRer on overpair and I don't see limper playing ace-weak OOP or a high ace like that) PLUS the fold-equity.
    Discuss?

    Results below(NOT in white):

Raiser calls, limper raises ALLIN, raiser takes 2 minutes and calls showing KK for the overpair while limper obviously shows the set (of nines). I spike the straight, river no help to limper and I more than triple up.

your pre flop play isn't debatable, it's terrible. A7 insta much there. At M=11 you can pretty much forget limping.

    flop is standard.

    as played..

    [18:00] <TbHackworth> push/fold to raise preflop
[18:01] <TbHackworth> takes all the guess-work out of it and puts him to a decision early (which obv with KK he'll call
    [18:01] <TbHackworth> )*
[18:01] <TbHackworth> you might even make 9s fold and then your 3 A's are good on turn/river

    what i'd do:
muck, wait for better hand. You have a decent stack, don't let their stacks fool you. You're sticking around for a little while and have time to find a better hand.

Yeah, 20/20 hindsight is still working and I agree preflop was bad.
offtopic, i finished 5th w/ATo(the stacks/blinds ratio was hilarious - 3 people of 5 had Ms of less than 6) vs 77 as the bubble boy

Hindsight has nothing to do with it. If you had flopped quad 7s, it's still a bad play.

I mean hindsight considering my play. At the table, and when i posted it i didn't see the preflop play as bad. After thinking it over a bit and considering the replys I realized I was wrong
