Default Stars $11-Middle pair please critique my line.

I had been stealing from these two pretty much every time it folded around to me on the button, so I thought I would limp this hand as I didn't want either to come over the top here. I couldn't decide how to handle this, so I just call, call, call the whole damn thing. Please advise...

    BB (t2845)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A, 5.
3 folds, Hero calls t150, 1 fold, BB checks.

    Flop: (t375) 5, 4, 7 (2 players)
BB bets t150, Hero calls t150.

    Turn: (t675) 7 (2 players)
BB bets t300, Hero calls t300.

    River: (t1275) J (2 players)
BB bets t450, Hero calls t450.

    Final Pot: t2175

BTW I know that odds of us both connecting on the flop are ~30%, but villain is very tight, and his flop lead sort of scared me. I didn't want to jeopardize my stack trying to get cute here.

I'm OK with flop call, but turn I think you need to raise or fold. It sounds like BB was tight, tough to imagine he's doing this with FD or worse 5. Every hand that beats you plays it the same, especially 7x.

Well, at least I thought it out right. On the turn I thought "I should either raise or fold here." But I just couldn't pull the trigger. Anyone else have thoughts?

i dont like calling because you dont get any information about your opponents hand. Raising the flop shows strength and gives you an idea about what kind of hand villian has. I would make it 450 on the flop and see how he acts. If he calls, you know that turn 7 is deadly and can get out of there cheap.

especially against a lagg opp who has been stealing my blinds, I would call 300 more with SD/FD all day here, or push if I had over(s) to the flop. It's a lot tougher for him to play fast with the draw on the turn.

good point drmcboy. I think raising the flop can still be a way to minimize loss, because if he is on the SD or FD, very few people can lead a second time after being raised the first. After raising the flop, villian probably checks the turn and you can check behind. If he leads the turn again, then you can assume your beat and lose 600 instead of 1050 by calling down.

    i like folding preflop though

yeah, raise flop is not bad line either. I'm cool with either. And certainly nothing wrong with folding pre flop. degree of difficutly playing Ababy against people you've been hammering is high.

I think i raise at some point.
If not on flop then on turn.

    Why?
I think you need to find out where u are.
Depending on the player u might get him to fold a turn raise if he overthinks it.

I think villian might have an overpair on the turn and that ur no good on the river.
