    Default AK, risky board

HH for a tourney I am playing atm on Absolute. Just wondering if my all-in was too much on the flop or if I wanted to get my chips in right there? Just wondering if a 600ish raise, with all in on the turn with no diamond might have been more valuable?

    Any coments welcome

I would raise more preflop, and raise more on the flop. With low blinds UTG you'd be amazed how much more you can limit the field by raising to 120 rather than 90. A standard 3x raise early on is a recipe for disaster. As for the flop, you raised it to 180 into a 420 pot, people are getting very very good odds to draw to that flush. Your re raise allin was good, you want to take it down now or have him pay if he is holding Q.

some new info for ya, does it change the way you play this?

Table was fairly tight, most raises of 4-5x BB or more were getting folds all the way around and I watched at least 2 people make thoes raises then show QQ and JJ.

However after a flop it seemed the table came to life with people wanting thoes chips in the middle... (probably as a result of the level I am playing at.. only $2 SnG's until I make a bit more to make the switch to pokerstars for the $5 + .50)

So Tight table pre flop... looser table post flop with small pre-flop and small flop bets (with re-raise which was in effect almost a check raise with more value?)

Doesn't really change much at all. If they all fold to you, then that's fine. I don't like a check raise on that flop, you need to take control of it and make them pay if they want to draw. If you do check raise, and they re raise allin you most certainly are beat and you just committed yourself to a call. If they did call your raise with 67 or something, I am paying them off here and drawing to a boat. And it would be much less likely for them to call preflop with a modest hand if they weren't given as good of odds.

I am not saying I would never fold when the flop came out this way. 2 pair is a very strong hand but the flush possibility still is there. I would have to rely on my reads on the players at the table.

I raise at least 4x preflop but that's your call.

Flop bet is waaay too small, you're giving odds to the gutshot, let alone FD. Pot that, especially with 4 in.
