I check behind. I always worry when players check/call significant bets like yours (I know donks do this too).

Unless you have a read that the guy is a donk who would do this with Ax (where x is not 5, 7 or 8), you still have ~850 chips left if he's slowplaying 88, 55, A8 or A5. Make any meaningful bet here and you are seriously shortstacked if you lose. Plus the pot is already a nice addition to your stack if you win.

Hmm. check call turn check river seems VERY patient for the FH/flush. I lean to value bet here, but boy a raise is bad news, AQ may think he has the nuts. With no read, I probably just bet 500 and plan on going back to the rest if I need it, fire up another one if I'm beat.
