Default Does villain's line make any sense here? (lc)

No read on this guy. How often am I beat here?

If he had a 7 or 55 I like it!

This is QQ-88/Ax often enough that I would call every time.

Tough having no reads, and I don't play ultimate bet, but this looks like a middle pair or two overs trying to push you off of the pot. You are getting 2:1 on the call and I think you are good more than one time in three here. I call this all of the time from a short stack.

More often than not, you are facing an overpair rather than 55 or A7. It doesn't make much sense to push all in with TT here, but then again, there are some horrible players out there. This includes the A7 guys.

I would think 55 would slowplay this.... If not, pay the man. I mean, he flopped a full house, he deserves to be paid!

I agree with Fnord. I think you are ahead more than 50% of the time and you are also getting 2:1

Id never fold this to a shortstack.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

Looks like a typical "shortstack bully"-action to me. I think he hit something minor and wants to cash in. I'd call this always.

Cool. Just making sure my general thinking was clear. I don't insta-call these...but thinking about it, 55 or 77 might play this way, though generally not at this level - (A7 probably wouldn't either) plus the other player folded and there's not much of a draw here in a raised pot (and $0.50 is relatively high pfr for UB with all the shortstacks).
So I figured - who's most likely to call a big raise preflop against me here? AK through maybe KQ, and any pair (most likely). I beat all of those except 55 and 77 - so this seems like a spot that I'm just forced to pay those off.
    Continued...

    Hero calls $3.75.

    Turn: ($11.75) :Qs:
    River: ($11.75)

Hero Shows :Kd: :Kh: (a pair of kings)
CO Shows (a pair of threes)
    Hero wins pot $11.75.

I wonder if these gamblers are thinking:
    (1) I missed with AK and can't call his reraise
    (2) He can push me off an overpair on this board

I didn't ask...he reloaded and I took his stack again later, this time with flopped trip Kings vs. his draw to a useless turn A with AQs. Thank you, come again.

    Spot on reads guys
