    Default $16 QQ: Stack issue

Well I didn't quite have a plan for a flop like this really so I got kinda stumped. I guess I bet this flop and cut my losses if I get called/reraised even if it leaves me pretty short stacked. That's probably what I should of done.

Do I just reraise AI pre-flop? His minraise is standard so I wasn't too worried about being trapped.

Needless to say this hand sucked

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    MP (t4505)
    CO (t1600)
    Button (t1170)
    daluchy (t1870)
    BB (t1045)
    UTG (t3310)

Preflop: daluchy is SB with Q, Q.
UTG raises to t200, 3 folds, daluchy raises to t600, 1 fold, UTG calls t400.

    Flop: (t1300) 6, A, 3 (2 players)
daluchy checks, UTG bets t500, daluchy folds.

    Final Pot: t1800

    1. overvaluing mid pocket pairs
    2. knowing you should fold, but donkishly calling or raising anyway

I'm not sure what to do here either, practically any bet commits you. Re rasing preflop then checking either means a really huge hand or there is a scare card. I don't know how to play that hand either man, just an unlucky flop I guess you could say? You don't want to just go allin preflop either because you won't get value cuz your stack is still decent. I would also like to know what people would do in this situation?

    NL is so beautiful.
I think ur raise is too big preflop and i think that if u made it like 500, it might make ur descision easier?

Ayayay, tough spot. As you say, pity about the stack sizes, but I think I bet 650 on the flop to rep the A. Opp only has to fold 1 in every 3 times (is my math right?) for this to be a profitable bet. After all, opp could have called your PF raise with 99-JJ, when you check you pretty much tell him you don't have the A. If opp pushes over this is a crying fold and yup, you're short stacked.

I don't know to be honest. I wouldn't go all in preflop either.

The flop bet leaves you decently short stacked you almost invested yourself... so here is what i suggest,

#1 - This is my super aggressive style but thats just me, depending on reads on UTG, if you check the flop he bets you come over the top all in but make sure you do it quick like you just wanna rape his shit sooo obad you cant even wait to drag that bar fast enough... MIND YOU this is depending on reads of UTG... another thing is he bet 500 ur stack is only 500 more then that... :/ so you might get a call or if hes tight or a fish/donk he could fold even though he is getting odds with whatever hand he holds

#2 - I dont recomend a preflop AI you got a good hand, sometimes i even just call the raise hope for low cards or jt and rip into em...

#3- I wouldnt raise that much leaves you too short preflop, i think this is a situation were i just limp...
    I am that fish...

    currently broke as a joke...

Yea tough flop. good fold. I think your move really depends on the read you have on opp. has he min raise before? what did he showdown after the min raise, did he bet aggressive post flop or did he fold to action.
From my limited experience most min raises utg mean AJ or Axs maybe a medium pair but less likely. with a decent hand I usually push over, only once has opponent called and showed a monster.
Success is how high you bounce after hitting bottom.

would you have played it same on K high flop? If yes, I lean to push pre flop. 350 isn't so bad and you may get called by a lot of hands you dominate.

EDIT to say A/K flop 1 in three, you need to have a plan.
