Thanks for the responses guys.
Recently i've been trying to focus on assessing my options for each move, and how this will work out depending what opp has.
So, on the flop villain could have;
Complete bluff (eg KQ) - folding to all in reraise, slightly more likely to call min reraise but probably folding. If i just call i think its more scary than a reraise cos ive harldy called a bet all tourney
Flush Draw - unlikely to call all in but may convince themselves they have odds to call a min reraise. unlikely that they would put more chips in the pot after the flop if they dont make their hand though
Any Ace - i doubt they would believe i had them outkicked if they had an ace, and they probably call a push. I think AJ+ or A4/A5 pushes over a reraise, and weak aces are unable to lay it down but probably only call
Set - He calls a push, and pushes over a reraise (thinking "ha, not so fun when people reraise you is it? noo! how can you have a straight!").
Or at least thats what i would think he would do on the flop.
His turn bet i see either as a made flush or an ace that is clearly scared of the flush, so possibly folding to a reraise.
Recently i have been taking the line if i have a hand i really dont want to lay down, i just check/call because almost all opps will bluff if they dont have me beat, so i stand to win/lose the same amount with a higher chance that i have the best hand than if i bet.
The river club reaally scared me, and if he had put me all in i may have actually folded, but he was giving me 7:1 odds to call, if i fold theres next to no chance of me winning the tourney, if i call and lose i am marginally ahead of the short stack still, if i call and win i have a great chance of winning the tourney. So basically calling and losing was so close to just folding i felt it made no difference at all.
