Default $22 A10 vs. the Gigantic Stack

Mr. big stack here won most of his money by making bad calls and getting lucky (calling AI with A4s vs AQo and hitting a 4 First Level). I had a good idea my raise is getting called with a large range of hands.

I'm guessing I should just push pre-flop instead and get a loose call with a worse hand? C-Bet is stupid because that is prolly insta-called so I just pushed the flop.

    Button (t2910)
    daluchy (t2610)
    BB (t7980)

Preflop: daluchy is SB with A, T.
1 fold, daluchy raises to t500, BB calls t300.

    Flop: (t1000) J, 7, 5 (2 players)
    daluchy bets t2110 (All-In)

So you overbet the pot with A high.
Here are some simpler and possibly better alternatives. 2 and 3 are my favorites in your specific situation, with 2nd place stack being only 2900. Especially if the table is overly aggressive. imo, at this point with you'd rather battle it out with 2900 man instead of big fish.

    1. All in preflop. I don't like this much either, but it is slightly better than a 500 raise from the SB.

    2. Limp preflop, BB checks, 1/2 pot bet the flop.

    3. Limp preflop, BB raises, you figure out how much you like your hand and reraise all in or fold.

    4. Raise 1/2 your stack preflop and follow through with the rest of your stack on the flop no matter what.

i kinda like limping here, especially if hes going to be raising with hands like A3. I dont like the flop push because with the way you described him, he would call this with any pair.

I was hoping he missed. If not I had overcards outs I guess. I didn't wanna c-bet this and get called with air (which he has done)

Yeah I guess limp this pre-flop or just push it sounds about good.

Bleh I need to plan better. That's my reoccurance from my last couple posts on here.

    Ew. Anymore reads?

Limping. Ugh. What are you supposed to do if he raises your limp (like I would do if I were the big stack)?

What's your read on how he plays postflop?

What will he do if you check (only respond if you know, don't speculate - too much)?

What's your read if you lead for 500 on the flop?

uses his stack and position to his adv

    bet with air

    call me

why i pushed the flop. to take all those things away from him.

and to The Fish: i dont think i like limping because of that so i have no comment.

if you think he'll use the stack to raise a pre flop limp, I like that the best.

if you think only fish limp, get ready to start donating money as you move up.

Err, that was just a joke calling courtiebee a fish

When I am playing a player like this who has accumulated a large stack I generally will try to get into pots as cheaply as possible (still raising with premium hands though) and will not try to bluff them as they are more likely to call a bluff than other players. Instead I wait until I hit something on the flop then punish them
