    Default river line check

I knew I was good here. What's a better river line? Should I have bet turn too? I wanted to look like I did not have Q

NEPatriots was super-crazy (77% vpip, 10% preflop raise) and would usually bet or raise, rarely called or folded.
Master was loose preflop but would slow down if he was beat. My river bet was to try to induce a raise out of NE and maybe still keep Master in.

Would I have been better to check, thinking NE would raise (but taking the chance that he wouldn't, or should I have bet harder to get more out of NE?

    PokerRoom No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (8 handed) converter

    MP1 ($99.05)
    MP2 ($24.10)
    CO ($42.95)

    Hero ($87.80)
    BB ($31.00)
    UTG ($29.50)
    UTG+1 ($17.00)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, Q.
    1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.25, MP1 calls $0.25, 3 folds, Hero raises to $1.15, 1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.90, MP1 calls $0.90.

    Flop: ($3.70) 4, 7, Q (3 players)
    Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 bets $3, Hero calls $3, UTG+1 calls $3.

    Turn: ($12.70) 5
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks.

    River: ($12.70) 9 (3 players)
    Hero bets $5, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls $5.

    Final Pot: $22.70

    Results in white below:
Hero has Qh Qs (three of a kind, queens).
    MP1 doesn't show.
    Outcome: Hero wins $22.70.

    Marry Me Cheryl!!!
depends how bad these guys really are.
You can bet the flop and get folds from everyone with a monster (sucks if theyreally are bad)
or you can bet and hope they caught a nice chunk.
Id bet all streets and maybe push the river if he calls me down. Or else just standard value through three streets.
You position sucks bcoz ur going to have to check call if u wanna play it passively, meaning someone else sictates how big the pot gets, which might be crap. On the other hand check raising is scary, but how much will they respect that? perhaps thats a better line if they wont respect it...

FYI this is the shorthanded forum, not full ring.

As for the hand, I think you need to be betting on all streets here and try to build the pot. I might slowplay a hand like this in position if I notice some guy betting like mad and I think I can trap him, but here if you check it should be with the intent of raising someone elses bet. Raise to $7 or $8 here and if he calls make another value bet and rinse/repeat on the river. By playing it passively like this you didn't win a big pot when you very well could have. That bet is perfect to raise because if he calls there is a lot of money in the pot and you can build a big pot here with a monster hand. Another alternative is leading out on the turn. As for the river, I make a bet of $8-$10 here and expect at least one caller.
