Default Won satellite seat.. should I use it?

I just placed in the $2+R to be able to play in WSOP qualifer.
Its one of the 33+R tourneys.

I know that rebuy tourneys require rebuys.
I had to rebuy twice in the last one to get a seat.

I don't really want to spend 33$ x3 potentially on this event.

Should I just play shorstacked? Or take the $W out?

I say cashout, if you want to play an event you need to be comitted to it and give yourself the best chance of winning it (in this case utilising the fact that it is a rebuy event).

So unless you feel confident that you could go deep in the event on only the one buy in, I think cashout...

The thing that bugged me when I cashed out is that the W$ has limited use. It shows the money at the cashier in a diiferent spot. My understanding is that if you cash it out, the only place to use the W$ is on other WSOP tourneys. So you're essentially cashing them out of one tourney for another. Unless you want to go through the hassle of selling them for real dollars. Unless I'm wrong. In that case you can laugh and point and call me names.

I don't think the $33 cashes out to W$. I think it credits T$. I could be wrong.

Sattellittes to rebuy tournaments are STUPID. The whole point of a sattellitte is to win entry to a tournament where you can't afford 1x buy in. Now if the sattellitte won you 5x buy in to a rebuy, that would be semi cool.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?

I think you're mistaken Rondavu. W$ are for "special" tournaments. WSOP qualifiers, etc. That is also a separate account, and funds within can only be used for such events.

In my opinion, it is a mistake to cash these out. I wasnt lucky enough to find the same buy in price amount after I cashed out, and have a few dollars wasting away under W$.

you can use W$s for WSOP/WPT qualifiers, WCOOP, and.... some other thing, maybe that Wolrd Cup thing they do? NOT same as T$.

how big is your total roll? You could play a few more and maybe look forward to a free/discounted buy in to a WCOOP event, a few of those had buyins of 200 I think.

OR you might be able to use W$S for WCOOP sats? that I'm not sure of.
