Default satellite seat win, advice please

i just won a seat to a $15000 guaranteed (freezeout) tournament. the buy in is $55. this will be the largest buyin tourny i have played in, and I would like some advice on how to play. I have made it to 3 final tables in smaller buy in events ($3-$5). what sort of difference should i be expecting??

    thanks

I think someone can beat the 1 dollar to 6.50's with out HOH.

While many of the players at the 55's not only understand the HOH concepts but are a step above.

If you've already read both HOH's I'd say play it since its a great learning experience. If not, then read them ASAP!

so my basic assumptions are that there will be more controlled aggression (as opposed to the unbridled aggression that I am used to at the lower levels), there will be fewer people stacking off on TPTK and the like, and there will be fewer people who will be willing to give up post flop just because i throw out a C-bet.

my strategy will be to play a TAG game and see some cheap flops from position in the first couple of levels. since there will be a number of other satellite winners, i am going to attempt to identify them at my table and try to take their chips before the better players do. that is about as far as I have gotten. i am unsure of how i will need to adjust my middle game strategy at the moment.
    thoughts would be appreciated

your strategy is fine. Plenty of people still suck in 50 MTTs. Some may just suck a little differently - more people who play 'solid' and just blind out than in the micros. Off the top of my head I would think c-betting would be more effective, not less, assuming you are pricing people off draws. I guess I associate beginners with calling, not folding. YMMV.

You also may run into better LAGGs than you are used to who can spot fold equity and get their money in a little better than wild gamboolers playing 3 dollar MTTs.

Mostly, play the same. Show the callers hands, re raise the raisers, steal from the tighties.

As an aside, people often go broke with TPTK at any level.

although you will see bad players at any level. You're less likely to double up you're stack when you get Aces at this level to some donkey who cant fold a small pair.
