    Given his play preflop and his check-call on the flop what hands do you expect for him to fold when you bet?

    THere are lots of hands that he could have here.

    Either that or maybe im just outhinking myself and telling my self that if I never bet here people will steal the pot from me too often.

    If you bet this turn, it's a clear fold to the raise.

    Checking behind here is ok too.

    It depends on my read. How loose/passive is he?

    in a preivoius hand he bet his flush draw when checked to as the last person to act.
    granted i wasnt THAT aware of this at the time of the hand, but there u go. I was aware of his relatively high VPIP, in the 20s-30s.
