Catch lucky 2 pair from BB, early $2 + .40

Had no intention to play this hand unless I was in BB, which I was. Flopped two pair and checked/called a bet, and made a boat on the turn. I dont know if my post-flop play was good enough. I think I could've gotten some more chips on this hand.

As the others say, personally i always bet strongly 2 pair and trips on the flop or re-raise to a bet.

Your raise on the river was more than id do, Chances are he only had a pair and its early on in the tourney, hes probably not going to sacrifice all his chips but give him great odds to call you. Bet say 500 and hes only got to put in 300 to see a pot of 1200. Pretty compelling odds.

Otherwise id say your play was fine, he was happy betting into you and as far as boats go that one was pretty well hidden. Im sure he didnt know what hit him. Shame you didnt get to show him your cards
