Default $22 AKo Missed flop with flush draw

What to do with this fishy flop bet? Villain has been a loose calling station thus far. I'm also curious if others play pre-flop the same. Thanks.

Ok, thanks. I'm really trying to work on "every bet has a purpose"... the purpose of leading the flop would be a) to semibluff and b) to get information about villain's hand?

Would a half-pot sized bet be right?

    If villain raises, I fold?

And if villain calls and the turn is a blank, do I check or bet again?

wat range of hands do u put villian on?
how does that range compare to u rhand on the flop?

    ur betting the flop to
    semibluff and value bet.
If villian raises I would probably shove. I am that sure that I have the best hand here more often than not.
Id be happy with a nut flush draw + 2 over cards versus a donk HU anyday.

    Is this a leak?

The only way I would check that flop is if I was suuure villian would bet and I would check raise. Problem is, he bet so small, 100 into a 750 pot... That looks weak as hell. You gotta raise here on this flop and like the others said leading the flop is better.

The way he had been playing, I put villain on low PPs,AJ,AT,KT+,QJ, JT, suited connectors, maybe suited gappers... he's been loose. My hand is ahead of all of these except 22, 99 and any two diamonds.

Results: I check-raised to 500. Villain re-raised to 800. I thought a long time and pushed. He called and flipped Q10 of diamonds, I didn't improve on the turn or river.

Given that he re-raised my check raise, I think I should have folded. I still would have had 1600 chips and an M over 10.
