    Villain has been at table for 20 hands according to the HUD. Prior to this hand, he has played one other. This is his first raise so I'm thinking his range here is fairly small.

    I think you did fine, I mean, I guess you could have been aggressive since he seems as scared of the JJ as you are, but IMHO, it's not worth it to try to be a hero/value bet on the river, because only a better hand will call here. My guess is he had AK/AQ, and he attempted to c-bet flop. If anything I might've raised pf since you have position, but other than that, I think your line is fine.
