    Hey you. Yeah, you.

    I know you're not busy in your cali-for-ni-a design offices and shit. Drop your nerf guns and put your hands in the air. Okay, now get off that Segway and listen to me.

    FTR is no good on my mobile phone/pocketPC. It has SO many images and adverts and t'ing that you have to scroll about 10 screens worth before you even see any content.

    It takes about 30 seconds to draw each screen - and that's using WiFi - never mind any actual on-the-m0ve GPRS nonsense. It makes reading the forum close to impossible.

    I would like to suggest a mobile or lite version of the forum - Diet FTR, if you will.

    Its only a suggestion... but its a good one.

    It's a good suggestion - I've tried going through the forums on my Treo and it was painful. However, I'm not sure how much work it would be and, like most people, I don't like working that much.

    But we'll look into it and report back.

    since you're using CSS for the site, you could offer an alternative CSS file that is much lower size from less/no images. then have a template switcher. this isn't just a convenience, it's also an accessibility issue FWIW.
