    Default Am I good here?

I wasn't at the table long. I won one or two hands before this and didn't see villain do much. What do you put him on?

Pocket fours, or maybe something like 45 suited. Easy fold. I probably wouldn't even call his turn raise. I wouldn't even dream of looking him up on the river without a very developed read.

I'm surprised you even posted this hand, honestly. Was the question more about what to do on the turn or on the river?

If you're asking about the turn, that can be a difficult one. He could be bluffing the 4-to-the-straight board, but the river isn't going to get any easier if he keeps up the pressure. The ace makes it less likely he'd be willing to bluff since you raised preflop. On top of that, if you are behind on the turn, you're crushed and the river can only make it harder to fold. I'd lean towards folding the turn.

    The river is an insta-fold.

This is a blind steal in his mind most likely. I thought he was full of it or had a weaker ace on the turn and wanted to see what he would do on the river. He followed through so AK no good.

By the way, this may seem a bit strange considering that you didn't have a made hand until the turn, but I'd consider checking behind on the turn and calling any reasonable bet on the river, especially if you know the guy is an aggressive and/or thinking player. It's a bad spot for a value bet - if he has a four he obviously will raise you, if he has two pair (say A5) he will raise you, and if he has almost anything else (say pocket sevens or eights, or a pair to the board but not the ace) he won't call your bet. If he's aggressive or smart he could check/raise that turn card no matter what he has. It's a very problematic card for you. If you'd hit your king, that would be a much safer value bet.

... he's calling from the BB and could have alot more than we think. However, A4 and 44 are definitely hands I see him calling with.

For me, this is an easy fold after the checkraise on the turn.
    I'm folding the river.

With this type of hand, I'm either betting the flop, and then checking that turn... or simply checking the flop and then betting later if I hit.

I HATE playing AK in small pots.
