You cant win here unless you bluff at the river... I probably would have checked the turn. The only way you plan on betting is if you hit your straight? You need to at least try and take the pot away IMO.

???? Why didn't you bet any street? You flopped the top 2 pair, I would most likely lead with a 1/2 pot on the flop. A check isn't too terrible if you want to trap, but you have to at least bet the turn.

Why the hell did you check this river? I prefer some sort of a bet before this point, but you HAVE to bet here. There's no way you can worry you're behind. Letting him take a stab when he's already refused twice is pointless.

Yeah, that is definitely the hand I was most disapointed in.

I checked the flop in the name of sneakiness mostly, but I have absolutely no idea why I didn't bet the turn. I was torn on the river, but checked just to be safe.

In hind sight, it was obviously a bad check on the river, becuase I'm confident he wouldn't have raised me with anything less than a straight and I would have folded. Definitely a horrible play, but I've always thought its atleast better to err on the side of tightness.

I don't remember betting so timidly. Normally, betting the minimum isn't my style.
