So, do you assume that someone that is very short stacked is going in with anything and any decent hand should call? In hand 1, bunna1's M = 8. In hand 2, notmop's M = 3.5. Honestly, I would have appreciated one of the deeper stacks to call these guys in an attempt to eliminate them.

    Thoughts or Guidance?

    Why fold, fold????

I call #1 for sure. Don't know what givememyleg is thinking. And I think I likely call hand #2, but maybe not. It definitely depends on how often he had been pushing.

Hand 1 - The big blind is 20. Your stack is 1300. Why are you calling 1/5 of your stack so early with 44?

Hand 2 - Regardless if he has been pushing a lot you're calling 125 with K8 offsuit. Who cares if you take him out here? It's not like him staying around with 45 more chips is going to make a difference.

Fold 'em both. Both of your hands are marginal and your stack isn't the healthiest either. Big stacked, I'd be more inclined, but not when I'm sucking wind. Your chips are too valuable.

    Thanks guys.

In hand 2, he had just lost most of his stack and this was his first push. Which is why I figured it for a Push-with-anything. Turns out he had pocket 9s, which held up.

When I am a middle or middle-low stack I start to feel pressure to get the shorter stacks out (and take their chips).

I need to wait to later in the tourney and better hands!
