Default difference between STT and 2 and 3 Table MTTs

If there are any players who are successful in Poker Stars STTs as well as 2 and 3 table MTTs, what adjustments do you make between the two game types ?

I do fairly well in STTs by using a tight early style until there are 4 or 5 players left. I suspect this is too tight for 2 and 3 table MTTs . In any case my results are downright poor as soon as the number of tables increase . Even if things go well and I get a couple of good hands by the time I get to the final table, my stack is usually below average, the blinds are large and I feel I should play tight like in a STT - but then if I don't get a good hand early - I just get weaker and weaker.

    thanks,

you're probably not pushing enough when your M gets around 5. Have you read HOH2?

Maybe you are missing opportunities to steal when one of your initial tables is short-handed and you are waiting to re-fill back to 8 or 9 instead of looking to apply pressure on the other players by raising and looking to steal some cheap/easy pots.

2-Tables are a little weird like that, 3-Tables even more so. You almost have to play tight, loose, back to tight, back to loose, back to tight and back to loose again as you lose players/tables fill back up.
