I pick up aq blinds are 150 300 2 limpers and SB, how is this not a push bb? would all have just checked?

Im very confused about when your M gets low should u just push or shove about half in the pot, then push the flop?

    Sigh

Good push. In fact, I think you played this much better than your opponents...

55 limp? push over short stack??? Maybe... he's sure you have overcards here
AKo limp AFTER limpers, then call 2 all-ins? Good to be the big stack...

I think the only time when you should raise 1/2 your stack instead of all is:
    1) You really, really , really want callers (so QQ-AA)
    2) You don't think you will get more than 1 caller, 2 at the most.
    3) This won't be picked up on as a wierd play (like your M=4 and you put in 1/2... you are not fooling anyone, they know the rest is going in on the flop)

Yeah well i was thinking it would be better to raise 1/2 my stack then push all in on the flop after the fact or just check.

    Hmmm

I'm interested to hear opinions on this as well. If you are really shortstacked this is obviously an easy push, and I would have done what you did but i am still a noob and learning. However, I'm thinking on that particular hand, the only people who would have called you preflop would call an AIafter that flop would be AJ,KJ,QJ,JJ+, and 22,88. With that size stack against such bigger stacks, maybe a half-pot to push would be better?

Right now that i think of it im thinking more of this way because the stacks of theirs was so large maybe a 1/2 stack push would have been better. Now if they were SS , an all in push might have been better. AQ Suited 77 or 88 is probably the cutoff of a push in this situation.

With KQ and AJ its getting Riskier.

This is definately one of the bigger plays of most tournies because as we all know people get SS and must make a move at some point.
