How to handle extreme bluffers
Hi,
Recently I've encountered not one, but two extreme bluffers in $5.50 SitnGos - who when it got to 5 players left would call any bet/raise to the river and then go all in. It was done so frequently that it was obvious and in fact one guy kept showing his cards. This, of course , would be great if I had gotten a great hand , but the times I was involved I'd have something like middle pair or top pair with a bad kicker .
I encounter this alot in heads up - but I find it's easier to deal with in heads up and it's almost always beneficial for me in those cases.
After I figured out what they were doing I really didn't want to play anything but good hands, even giving up my SB - which I hate doing in the late stages of a SitnGo. I really felt at a disadvantage being forced to change my syle of play.
Any ideas of how to handle this. ? In hind sight all I'd have had to do is call one of his all-ins - but it's not so easy when being eliminated from a game, you are capable of winning, hinges upon middle pair.
I can only think of two ways :
1. Grimace and call one of his all-ins with a sub-par hand?
2. Sit back and and wait?
