Default How to handle extreme bluffers

    Hi,

Recently I've encountered not one, but two extreme bluffers in $5.50 SitnGos - who when it got to 5 players left would call any bet/raise to the river and then go all in. It was done so frequently that it was obvious and in fact one guy kept showing his cards. This, of course , would be great if I had gotten a great hand , but the times I was involved I'd have something like middle pair or top pair with a bad kicker .

I encounter this alot in heads up - but I find it's easier to deal with in heads up and it's almost always beneficial for me in those cases.

After I figured out what they were doing I really didn't want to play anything but good hands, even giving up my SB - which I hate doing in the late stages of a SitnGo. I really felt at a disadvantage being forced to change my syle of play.

Any ideas of how to handle this. ? In hind sight all I'd have had to do is call one of his all-ins - but it's not so easy when being eliminated from a game, you are capable of winning, hinges upon middle pair.

I can only think of two ways :

    1. Grimace and call one of his all-ins with a sub-par hand?
    2. Sit back and and wait?

This type of player is counting on big pots at the right time to keep them alive. Keep the pots small when you're in 'em. Opp will either
-win hisher big pots off someone else
-lose it all to someone (no reason it couldn't be you) who catches the nuts

    I laughed
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

get to the flop as cheaply as possible and when the flop hits you (even with middle pair), beat him to death with a check/raise or even a check/push if you are strong enough.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

also, bluff the river yourself because they usually arent capable of bluff raising in that spot
