    Default Big Limping. AQ

On the whole limping Big Aces hows my line.

I limp UTG+1 with AQo (I used to either fold or raise here, 75/25% of the time roughly)but following the raise from the button I didnt feel comfortable calling OOP and not having shown any strength PF. I called expecting to hit or fold.

Should I have called the 6xBB OOP. Is this what it means to limp but still gonna play if its raised or is it better to fold this early since it got more expensive and your gonna be pushed out if you miss.

u shoudl reconsider the way u play AQ.

I would be more specific but Helix Loop Helix strucutres are commanding my attention.

I wouldn't call a 6x raise preflop with AQo utg... but that's just me.

I would look at the preflop call as a function of your stack size rather than xblinds. AQ is decent for a call of 100 with your stack, and if you hit hard then great. If you miss, a quick fold gets you out.

    played fine - nh.

I only limp small pp hoping to play for cheap. I raise this bad boy. In the event that I limp and some comes over the top like this, I fold AQ. It's the gap concept...you can't call a raise with a hand that you won't even raise with! Also, AQ is a trouble hand. I'll play it strong, but I'm willing to throw them away in the face of pressure.

If you decide to play it weak and limp it early in the SnG, which is fine, you can't call a raise OOP with it.

    Thanks guys.

Im thinking I fold to the raise pf. IM trying a new line of limping big Aces pf in EP as oppossed to folding against $11 players.

I am not sure I like that line. If you limp you are inviting others with lesser hands to limp with you and thus increasing the risk of being outdrawn.

I think I like Stranglin's line of raise/fold to aggression better than a limp.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.
