You guys just call the All-in here? What about pushing to isolate?
Is his raise large enough that I do not need to push behind? What If I get another caller behind me? I commonly see people loosely calling off half of their stack early vs multiple opponents hoping to hit or check it down (keep in mind this is a $5 sng). They seem to fold to a push, though.
I also think that a tight player might lay down JJ or QQ (or other PP) more readily if I isolate against the raiser being as there are two people all-in before them.
Also, is playing the hand really so certain? This guy could have any pocket pair here (making me the shorter end of a coinflip), and I still have a healthy stack compared to the blinds. There is also an entire table left to act behind me.
And what would be the point of checking behind on the second flop? Trying to catch A or K? I think if I'm going to bet when an A or K comes, I might as well bet the flop because if he's going to call me on the flop, hes going to have AJ, QQ+, or a set (or possibly lower pocket pair if the thinks I missed).... Only a K would really help me on later streets... I'm also letting him see another card (maybe make his set)... The pot is 50% of my stack... I have less than half as many chips as the rest of the table.... I have two overcards.... Why give him a chance to steal it?
I definitely feel like I should have pushed that flop though, being as my bet commited me anyways and showed that I didnt really like my hand.
